[SSD Populace] Amtgard, Saturday Oct 19th

[Baron Deimos]

We will be conducting Amtgard as usual this Saturday at Santa Rosa Park,
commencing at 1pm until people go home.

Thanks to Kairos and Azalin for sitting our demo at the MiniCon!

Declarations for office will be taken through end of the park day
Saturday.  So far the declarants are:
Azalin - Monarch
Faye - Regent

Still available are Champion and Guildmaster of Reeves (though GMR is not a
mandatory position).  Crown Quals will be on Oct 26th, and will consist of
the warmaster tournament (single sword, double sword, sword/shield,
polearm/great, and open) and the Arts & Sciences tournament.  Time
permitting we'll still run a battlegame or two once we get those two
tournaments out of the way.

Also, please submit any award suggestions to myself or Faye.  We try to
keep an eye out, but we can't see everything (and I'm getting older, so I
tend to be forgetful......what are we talking about??)
