July 27-28                            Saturday - Sunday        Eastern
Sierra 

Saturday hike from Agnew Meadow (8,300') Shadow Lake trail to camp at Ediza
Lake (9,300'), 7 miles.  Sunday climb Mt. Ritter (13,150') from Ediza Lake
via the lower gully, SE Glacier, and Owen's Chute, then head back to camp to
pack up and head out.

Sept. 20-22                            Friday - Sunday            Sierra
Nevada

Some easy to moderate peaks in the southern Sierra Nevada within the Monache
Meadow area with 4wd high-clearance vehicles required.  Moderate climbs of
Monache Mountain and others would be day-hikes with some cross-country
scrambling.
