      LAPCS TV show 'Educating Louisiana' features
Charter School Teacher Fair, BESE Member Judith Miranti 
tonight, Cox Cable 4 in New Orleans, Baton Rouge and Lafayette     

      The Louisiana Association of Public Charter Schools       weekly TV show Educating Louisiana,       will feature interviews with Rose Peterson, Director, Eastbank Collaborative of Charter Schools and organizer of the 9th Annual Charter School Teacher Fair, as well as Dr. Judith Miranti, member, Board of Elementary and Secondary Education.

The show airs at 8:30 p.m. each Thursday, featuring host Veronica Brooks on Cox Cable 4 in New Orleans, Baton Rouge and Lafayette.     

The charter school teacher fair will be held Saturday, March 14 in New Orleans. Over 70 charter schools are participating. More information is available at www.eastbankcollaborative.com. 

Dr. Miranti, the director of Graduate Counseling at Xavier University, will discuss critical issues facing education reform in the state of Louisiana. She is also a professor emeritus at Our Lady of Holy Cross College.
