[SSD Populace] Amtgard: May 18th, 2013

Greetings populace! This Saturday we will be doing Amtgard as normal and
I'll have loaners for anyone who needs them.


Tomorrow (or probably today as I got this one out late) we will be doing a
demo at SLO High School for the Tech Club lan party. This is a great chance
to recruit people as we have been dwindling in numbers recently. If you can
help please send me a message. We will be doing it from 5-6.


I would like to give a special shout out to Sir Deimos for his wonderful
knighting ceremony last week. Remember that now's your chance to beat him
as tradition limits to single sword for the next couple of weeks (although
you still might have trouble killing him).


Our coronation will be occurring this Saturday and is sure to be a fun
event. After 18 months as monarch and sending out emails I will be leaving
the office for Sir Deimos to take my place (this has nothing to do with
blackmail... shut up) and just as a warning, due to doing this email weekly
I might accidentally send it out out of habit during Deimos' reign (of
terror).


I'm planning the v8 playtest for the 25th, so be sure that you read up on
the new rules if you want to join us for it or if you just want to say it
sucks while having up to date information why. On the other hand it could
be more fun to argue that it sucks without reading it, I may consider doing
