[SSD Populace] Amtgard: January 19th, 2013

Hello again everyone. This week there will be the Minicon at Cal Poly and
we need people to help with our demo there. Our demo will be our usual time
on Saturday from 1-4pm and people in attendance will get double credits.
Our demo is scheduled to be out at Mott Lawn and while it's not the closest
to the University Union, it's much better than the one that is (which is
basically a 10x10 field of grass with a huge mound in the center). I'll
have loaners for those who need them and for those in the con who want to
try out. Bring any friends out who want to find out what the game is like.
Our class games will be much fewer in number this week though as that ends
up taking much  more time to teach newbies about.


We are going to be starting fighter practices this week on Thursday from
2-4pm For fighter practices we meet up outside of Amtgard and just practice
fighting against each other in order to get better. Each day of fighter
practice is worth 1/2 of a credit. The limit is 2 credits a month. The
location we will be using this week is Elm Street Park in Arroyo Grande.
It's on the corner of Ash Street and Elm Street.
