[SSD Populace] Amtgard: January 12th, 2013

Greetings everyone! It's good to see a lot of you back, but we need more of
you to come back out. More, MORE!!! MUHAHAHAHA! Ahem, sorry the evil is
getting harder to repress now. So, more of you should come back out to beat
it back into remission.

We will be doing Amtgard as normal from 1-4 this Saturday and I'll have
loaners for anyone who needs them.

We still need more people for the upcoming Minicon on MLK weekend demo. I
need anyone who can to email me or tell me at the field if they can help me
run this demo. If you have the free time please help as we've been dropping
a little bit in numbers over the past month or so and we could really use
an influx of new pawns. With this my ridiculously circuitous plan will be
one quarter complete!

We are looking into starting fighter practices on Thursdays starting next
week. For fighter practices we meet up outside of Amtgard and just practice
fighting against each other in order to get better. Each day of fighter
practice is worth 1/2 of a credit and I can't remember what it is right
now, but there is a limit on the number you can get from fighter practice
in a month. I believe the limit is 2 credits a month. The location we are
looking into right now would be Elm Street Park in Arroyo Grande. It's on
the corner of Ash Street and Elm Street.
