Thursday, December 18 at noon, members of SEIU 

(service employees union) are gathering at

McDonalds in New Orleans and Baton Rouge to 

show their support for

restoring the American middle class.

Both President-Elect Obama and a bipartisan base of support in
Congress has vowed to support the Employee Free Choice Act- federal
legislation that would give America's workers the opportunity to earn
better pay, benefits and working conditions. Big corporations like
McDonald's- whose CEO Jim Skinner makes 770 times that of his workers-
recently announced plans to spend hundreds of millions of dollars
lobbying and fighting against working families.

It's high time that we all come together and fight for a system that
doesn't just let Billionaire CEO's testify in Congress for a bailout,
but allows for everyday Americans to have their voices heard, says Louisiana SEIU.
