[Hackrf-dev] firmware upgradation / uploading

Hi Jim,

I am also facing similar problem upgrading new firmware in WINDOWS.

I believe we all are windows guy. if you are successful in performing the 
task - PLEASE do post a step by step for upgrading the new firmware in 
WINDOWS.

I BELIEVE THERE ARE MANY EXPERTS - my humble request to consider us NOVICE - 
therefore, kindly take out your valuable time to describe the firmware up 
gradation steps in windows - MANY will be benefited

Hi Zilvis,

Thank you very much for suggesting the alternate part # of MGA81563TR1G

I think many will be benefited because the front end protection of hackrf is
not that good secondly I have doubt whether the mfr. has at all used the TVS
diode in the antenna INPUT - to me it looks like a capacitor.

The first thing you'll need is a copy of the HackRF tools built for Windows.
I don't know if you're building your own or looking for precompiled
binaries, but if it's the latter, you can find them included in the packages
here: http://downloads.myriadrf.org/builds/PothosSDR/

Once you have the hackrf_spiflash tool, the usage is the same as any other
platform:

hackrf_spiflash -w hackrf_usb.bin  (or whatever your firmware filename is)
