Just use the bootable cd, its a pain, but it works and leave slave pc on all
the time while you test etc. It looks like the software support was built at
a moment in time with certain drivers etc working with certain
hardware/software setup several years ago. How much time would you need to
resove this issue for your system.......who knows...just get it up and
running on live cd and off you go....time is money

I've given up on the HackRF for that reason. Nobody connected with is is
serious about making it
a usable, serious, product.

There should be no need to compile anything connected to the OS for a
serious product.
The designers should generate truly, completely, utterly legal, bugfree DLLs
for both
32 and 64 bit software in C and C++ under Windows that will connect to C or
C++
programs written using any compiler. These should just work. That is, you
just
copy them to the directory containing your stuff and adter compiling your
part,
it should just work.

AND ... ALL the connections to these DLLs should be properly anf FULLY
documented,
and simple example programs should be made that use each and every dll call.

The available stuff does not work.
