Nader,

In Ubuntu, try the following:

$sudo rmmod hackrf
$sudo hackrf_info

If this works, you'll need to blacklist the kernel module for hackrf that
comes with ubuntu. Add the line:

blacklist hackrf

to the file blacklist.conf in /etc/modprobe.d/ and reboot.

Hope that helps - adam
