[Hackrf-dev] HackRF Install in Kali Linux 2.0

Can someone please tell me how to install the HackRF in Kali Linux? I need
step by step or a good webpage that explains it. Do I need to install
pybombs? I found this info below but perhaps it's incomplete?

I installed 2.0 x64 on my machine, i5 PC, and the hackrf_info, would not
come back with anything, I removed apt-get remove hackrf to try and
re-install it, which took the follow;
gqrx hackrf kali-linux-full kali-linux-sdr
packaged out.. when I try to add hackrf or any of them back I get;
apt-get install gqrx hackrf kali-linux-full kali-linux-sdr
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
E: Unable to locate package gqrx
E: Unable to locate package hackrf
E: Unable to locate package kali-linux-full
E: Unable to locate package kali-linux-sdr
an apt-get update/upgrade works without issue..
I could re-install not a big deal, nothing really setup so far, but I
will end up at the same point.
yes I could switch to Ubuntu for RF, or pentoo, but I would rather stick
with Kali, 1.1.0a worked without issue, so I'm some what lost as to why 2.0
is giving problems.
any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
there was nothing wrong with your initial fresh Kali 2.0 install. You
just had to execute "rmmod hackrf" once before trying "hackrf_info". dmesg
is your friend ;-)
