I ran a hackrf_info to verify the existing firmware.

192-168-1-5:~ air$ hackrf_info
Found HackRF board.
Board ID Number: 1 (Jawbreaker)
Firmware Version: 2013.06.1
Part ID Number: 0xbc654755 0xbc654755
Serial Number: 0x00000000 0x00000000 0x505062c8 0x367b9917

I then ran a firmware flash with the new firmware from hackrf-2013.07.1 and it appeared to run OK but failed.

192-168-1-5:firmware-bin air$ ls
hackrf_usb_rom_to_ram.bin
192-168-1-5:firmware-bin air$ hackrf_spiflash -w hackrf_usb_rom_to_ram.bin

192-168-1-5:firmware-bin air$ hackrf_info
hackrf_open() failed: HACKRF_ERROR_NOT_FOUND (-5)

Now my VCCLED lights green normally
1V8LED is OFF
LED 1,2,3 and USB_LED0, USB_LED1 all glow dimly

Suggestions please?
