June 20th                            Saturday                          Mount
Pinos (Frazier Park area)

 

Mtn. Bike trip.  This is one of SoCal's premier mtn. bike routes.  The ride
consists of a uphill pedal on pavement to the top of Mount Pinos (very few
cars use this road).  Then a blast down a smooth dirt trail  that traverses
three sides of the mountain.  The whole trip is in the high pines with a
meadow or two that you go through.   A great summer workout.  This trip is
open to anyone who is interested, regardless of ability.   Altitude is from
approx. 6500' ft. to 8800' ft.  Drive time from the San Fernando valley is
