Live Your Dream Grants—Brand New, Locally Delivered Climbing Grants in Your Area
The purpose of the brand-new "Live Your Dream" Grants is to fund individuals or small teams in pursuit of their personal climbing dreams. Each Region of the Club has its own funding and grant award committee. The emphasis of the grant is on projects that have significant positive impact on grantees’ progressions as climbers, as opposed to cutting-edge or exploratory objectives. We seek to support climbers from a range of ages and experience levels, as well as a range of climbing disciplines (sport climbing, bouldering, traditio
nal rock climbing, ice climbing, mountaineering, etc.).

2012 AAC / ACI Women's Climbing Exchange—Host Climbers Needed
The Club participated in an exciting and rewarding climbing and cultural exchange with the Alpine Club of Iran during the <http://americanalpineclub.us1.list-manage.com/track/click?u=60afa02764806293a37aacfda&id=0495f81004&e=49344561f0> fall of 2010 and the summer of 2011 [1 <http://americanalpineclub.us1.list-manage.com/track/click?u=60afa02764806293a37aacfda&id=69d16809b0&e=49344561f0> , 2 <http://americanalpineclub.us1.list-manage2.com/track/click?u=60afa02764806293a37aacfda&id=e3f57974ae&e=49344561f0> ]. Teams of climbers from both clubs spent several weeks in each of the host countries-climbing, hiking, and touring with local host climbers. Both the AAC and the ACI are interested in continuing to build upon these already-established international relationships and climbing partnerships. As a result, the AAC has invited a delegation of female ACI climbers to Colorado for a 10 day climbing and cultural experience during July of 2012. 2012 International Climbers' Meet
The American Alpine Club is hosting its annual International Climbers’ Meet (ICM). We would like to extend an invitation to participate in this annual event to be held the week of Oct 8 - October 13, 2012 in Yosemite Valley.
