Warren Easton Charter High School to Host Open House for Prospective Students and Families on November 4

NEW ORLEANS, LA – Warren Easton Charter High School invites prospective students and their families to attend its Open House on Tuesday, November 4, from 5 – 7 p.m. The event will be held at Warren Easton’s Ninth Grade Academy, 3030 Canal Street. Guests will have the opportunity to tour the campus, meet teachers and current students, and learn more about Warren Easton’s outstanding academic and extracurricular programs.

Warren Easton is excited to showcase its innovative Ninth Grade Academy, located directly across from the school’s original 110-year-old building, now serving grades 10-12. This expansion added 100 additional student spots, reflecting the school’s ongoing commitment to providing high-quality education to more New Orleans youth.

As the oldest public high school in Louisiana, Warren Easton has a long-standing tradition of academic excellence and maintains a 100% graduation rate. The school offers a rigorous and relevant curriculum, including gifted, honors, and AP courses, alongside a model Career and Technical Education (CTE) program.

Beyond academics, Warren Easton excels in athletics and extracurricular activities. Its football, track and field, girls’ basketball, and band programs have earned numerous awards, top rankings, and championships statewide. These achievements highlight Warren Easton’s whole-child approach, supporting student success both inside and outside the classroom.

Warren Easton also prioritizes students' well-being, offering a free on-site health clinic and free vision services for all students.
