Discovery Schools to Hold Annual Swamp Fest 




Popular event features rides, games, food, and live music by The Topcats and Alt’r Ego




Discovery Schools is excited to announce this year’s annual Swamp Fest, to be held on Saturday, November 8, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Sunday, November 9, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., at 3837 Loyola Drive, Kenner, LA. Entry is free; however, guests must purchase tickets for the rides and games. Tickets and all-you-can-play wristbands will be available for purchase at the event. The event will feature rides, games, a vast array of food vendors, and live music. In support of our food vendors and beverage booths, outside food and beverages are not permitted. 




“We invite the community to join us for an unforgettable experience with rides, carnival games, food, and amazing music,” said Discovery Schools CEO Sharon Preen. 




Swamp Fest will spotlight local talent, with live bands performing each night, including The Topcats (Saturday) and Alt’R Ego Alternative Rock and Pop (Sunday).




All ticket sales are final. The event is rain or shine. Proceeds benefit the students of Discovery Schools.
