 May 19, 2025                                                  Kenner Discovery Health Science Academy Announces Bryan T. Crayton Jr. as New Head Football Coach

Kenner, LA – Discovery Schools is thrilled to announce that Bryan T. Crayton Jr. has been appointed as the new Head Football Coach for Kenner Discovery Health Science Academy. With over 12 years of experience in education and coaching across Jefferson, Orleans, and St. Charles parishes, Coach Crayton brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record of success to our athletic program.


In his impressive career, Coach Crayton has held numerous coaching roles, including Head Football Coach, Assistant Head Football Coach, Defensive Coordinator, and specialized coaching positions for linebackers and defensive backs. He was the Head Wrestling Coach at Hahnville High School, where he also contributed as an Assistant Football Coach. His leadership at John Ehret High School as the Assistant Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator led to the team winning three District Championships and achieving the runner-up position in the LHSAA State 5A Non-Select State Championship.


Coach Crayton is passionate about guiding student-athletes toward success, both on the field and in their academic pursuits. “It will be an honor and pleasure to lead the talented student-athletes at Kenner Discovery,” he said. “I look forward to bringing my experience and dedication to this great school and community.”
