What:    Cocktails and Blues Annual Fundraiser/Gala for Lake Forest Charter School
When:    Oct. 19, 6 pm patron party (for donors only); 7 to 10 p.m. event
Where:   Messina's at the Terminal, 6001 Stars and Stripes Blvd. 
Tickets: Individuals: $80 each. Sponsorships still available for donors, starting at $2500.

Funds support development of the school's K-8 athletic facility. Lake Forest Charter is a leader in public education in Louisiana and the New Orleans East Community, selected twice as a National Blue Ribbon School and rated by U.S. News and World Report as the state's top charter elementary school. The CEO is Mardele Early.
