Morris Jeff Community School Annual Krewe of MJCS Literary-themed Mardi Gras Parade 


On February 8, Morris Jeff Community School held its annual Krewe of MJCS Mardi Gras Parade for all students in the lower school grades PreK-5th. The MJCS Pelican Band led all elementary classes in a parade around the building. Each class showcased a children's book that they have enjoyed together. The parade included the school’s middle school band, cheer and dance teams, and Cadet Corps followed by every elementary class. Each class celebrated a literary theme with banners, costumes, and throws. Click here to see video of the parade!
