 Audubon Charter School-Uptown Has Limited Spots Available NOW for this 2021-22 school year
In-demand school has spots available for grades 2-8 in French Program and grades 4-8 in Montessori Program       Rare opportunity to join the Audubon Rarebird flock! Audubon Charter School-Uptown has limited spots open for students in grades 2-8 in its French program and grades 4-8 in its Montessori program for the 2021-22 school year, but interested families should apply by October 1st, said CEO Dr. Steven Corbett.        Prospective students should go to enrollnola.org to apply now to attend the high-performing school, which rarely has openings. Placement is contingent upon students successfully completing admissions assessments. French students will be required to pass a proficiency test for the grade they are entering.        Audubon Uptown’s Lower School (PreK(3) - 3rd grades) is located at 428 Broadway St. and the Upper School (4th - 8th grades) is located at 1111 Milan St.          “We encourage parents and students that are interested in a non-traditional education opportunity to apply now for these limited spots,” said Dr. Corbett. “It is not too late to be a part of the Audubon family and our highly recognized French and Montessori programs for this school year.”         Audubon Uptown offers two separate and unique programs with a French and/or Montessori track.  Audubon’s French program is fully accredited through the Agency for French Education Abroad (AEFE) and is also designated by the Louisiana State Department of Education as a Certified World Languages Site.         The Montessori program is an Associate Member of the American Montessori Society, and is one of the only public Montessori programs in New Orleans that extends beyond the Early Childhood level. Audubon fosters a culturally rich and academically rigorous learning environment using French and Montessori curriculum with a comprehensive arts curriculum.
