PRESIDENT/CEO
    SCHOOL LEADERSHIP CENTER OF GREATERNEW ORLEANS
    (12 MONTH POSITION)
The School Leadership Center ofGreater New Orleans (SLC-GNO), a private, not-for-profit organization dedicatedto developing educational leaders and advancing the improvement of PK-12schools, is seeking applicants and nominations for the position of President& CEO. The successful candidate will be a visionary and collaborativeleader, problem-solver and communicator who is also capable of managing theoperations of a small but complex organization, including fiscalresponsibilities and human resource development. The President & CEO willbe able to cultivate and strengthen partnership with PK-12 schools, districts,state and federal agencies to facilitate the Center’s work, and engage indevelopment / fundraising as needed. 
The President & CEO leads a small,highly qualified and professional staff in all facets of operations and isresponsible to the Center’s Board for strategic visioning, planning, andcontinuous improvement of Center activities. The President & CEO leads orassists in the development and delivery of services to schools, district, andeducational agencies year-round including on-site training and coaching, aFellows Program directed at the improvement of principals and assistantprincipal’s practice, an aspiring leaders’ program, and technical assistance toschools and districts on a contract basis.
The successful applicant must (be):
·       Possess or be eligible for a validLouisiana certificate in Administration and Supervision (or equilivant)preferred;
·       Possess a strong Academic Credential(Master’s Degree or above); and
·      Demonstrate not less than 10 years of successful experience inschool leadership.
