Einstein Charter School Science Fair Winners!

MAY 23, 2017:  Einstein Charter School Sherwood Forest students in grades 2nd - 5th have been busy at home preparing their project for the first annual Science Fair.  The projects were on display on Friday, May 19th for viewing and judging by the science committee.

ECSSF 2nd Grade 2nd Place - ECS Sherwood Forest 2nd grade student Malachi Hill placed 2nd place (for his grade level) with his project "A La Mold."  The purpose of his experiment was to find out which food would mold fastest over a two week period.

ECSSF 3rd Grade 1st Place - ECS Sherwood Forest 3rd grade student Christian Tran-Yang tested three types of salt - Sea, Kosher and Himalaya - to see which would form crystals the fastest to earn 1st Place (for his grade level) in the Science Fair.

ECSSF 4th Grade Honorable Mention - 4th grade student Kelly Nguyen earned Honorable Mention (for her grade level) at the ECS Sherwood Forest Science Fair by testing the reactions of Mentos in Diet Coke!

ECSSF 5th Grade 3rd Place - 5th grade student Tyler Derbigny earned 3rd Place (for his grade level) with this project "In Flight."  Tyler constructed paper planes with different types of wings to test which would fly the fastest and farthest for the ECS Sherwood Forest Science Fair.
