            Certified teachers and instructionalsupport professionals seeking employment in a charter school within the GreaterNew Orleans area are invited to attend the 11th annual free New Orleans CharterSchools Teacher Fair, Saturday, March 25, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Hynes CharterSchool Gym, 990 Harrison Ave., New Orleans, LA. 
            The schools are seeking all types ofinstructional and support professionals including classroom teachers, schooladministrators, instructional and special education coordinators, counselors,librarians, nurses, coaches, and others.
Pre-registration has closed, but is notrequired for attendance. Pre-registered teachers can attend at 9 a.m., walk-insat 10 a.m. 
“Full and part-time positions areavailable for certified teachers and those who will be certified by May, 2017,”said Greater New Orleans Collaborative of Charter Schools President LatoyeBrown. 
 “Principalsand administrators will conduct on-site screening interviews at the TeacherFair and share information about the benefits of working at their charterschools,” said GNOCCS Director Dr. Ken Ducote. “Teachers and aspiring teachersshould bring multiple copies of their resumes, teaching certificates,references and any other relevant information for immediate consideration.”
            The fair is sponsored by the GNOCCSwith support from The Reily Foundation, the School Leadership Center (SLC) ofGreater New Orleans, and the Pro Bono Publico Foundation.
Regularly updated charter school vacancylistings are available online at www.gnocollaborative.com. The websitehas recently been updated, so candidates who have previously posted theirresumes must re-post them on the new site.
