            Certifiedteachers are invited to join the New Orleans charter school movement at the 10thannual New Orleans Charter Schools Teacher Fair, Saturday, March 12, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., HynesCharter School Gym, 990 Harrison Ave.
“Fulland part-time positions are available for certified teachers and those who willbe certified by May, 2016,” said Greater New Orleans Collaborative of CharterSchools President Alexina Medley. 
Interestedteachers are encouraged to register for free online at www.gnocollaborative.com by end of day March 7. Candidates who pre-registerby March 7 will have exclusive access to hiring schools for the first hour ofthe event, from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m., but are required to bring a copy of theirEvent Brite ticket for early admission. Additionally, pre-registrants will havethe option to have their resumes posted for all charter school leaders toreview on the GNOCCS website.
Walk-insare welcome from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. and should bring sufficient printed copies oftheir resume.
“Principalsand administrators will conduct on-site screening interviews at the TeacherFair and share information about the benefits of working at charter schools,”said GNOCCS Director Dr. Ken Ducote. “Teachers and aspiring teachers shouldbring multiple copies of their resume, teaching certificate, references and anyother relevant information for immediate consideration.”
            Thefair is sponsored by the GNOCCS with support from New Schools New Orleans, SchoolLeadership Center (SLC) of Greater New Orleans, Adams and Reese LLP, BaptistCommunity Ministries, and the Pro Bono Publico Foundation.
Charterschools from across Louisiana are invited to participate and interviewcandidates at this free event. There is room for nearly 60 schools toparticipate, but tables must be reserved as soon as possible since space islimited.
