International School of Louisiana to Hold International Day Parades Today
Students and faculty to wear traditional clothing of countries from around the world, carry flags and second line around campus at end of year celebration




The community is invited to the International Day Parades at all three ISL campuses. Students and faculty will wear the colors and traditional clothing of countries from around the world and carry countries’ flags as they second line around campus neighborhood, sharing the International experience and celebration of diversity with the local community with bands, music, and more!


This year-end celebration is a uniquely New Orleans way to experience the essence of the ISL community and its celebration of diversity and all cultures. Students spend the last week of school studying the different nations and cultures of our world blending what they have learned with a traditional New Orleans celebration.


WHAT: The International School of Louisiana (ISL) will end the 2015-16 school year with their annual International Second Line Parades at all campuses.

                       New Breed Brass Band will be at the Uptown Campus

                      Treme Brass Band will be at the Westbank Campus 
                       
                       International School of Louisiana (ISL) Jefferson Campus

                       Second Hand Street Band will be at the Jefferson Campus
