Audubon Charter School Academic Games Team Places First in the Nation


Congratulations to the Audubon Charter Academic games team for placing first in the nation in Propaganda, bringing home a Gold Thinker and Bronze Thinker.  Ten Audubon students attended the National tournament in Atlanta representing the Orleans Parish Academic Games League.  The Audubon team placed first in Propaganda and third in Presidents!  Additionally Eli Zitler placed first individually in presidents and Derek Witzig placed sixth while Rachel Cannata placed second overall in Propaganda and Eli Zitler and Ava Wilkes placed ninth.   These students worked hard throughout the school year competing in four games: Equations, Onsets, Propaganda and Presidents.  After qualifying locally to represent Orleans Parish, they were off to Atlanta for a grueling four day competition.  Members of the team include: Eli Zitler, Derek Witzig , Ava Wilkes, Maxwell Hickman, Rachel Cannata,  Patrick Keefe, Jack Creevy, Sasha Wolfson,  Sebastain Barrau, and Armand Duplantier, Coaches Renee Gillen and Flo Snow. Congratulations for bringing home a National Title to Orleans Parish and Audubon Charter School!
