Sign up for the 8     th Annual Louisiana Charter Schools Conference, being held on October 13, 2015 in Baton Rouge!     It's always the biggest LAPCS event of the year and this year celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Louisiana charter school law. 
     



 
     
·         Register your school leadership and/or board members to attend the conference. This year’s will feature 24 sessions on topics relevant and critical to your school’s operations and success. We’ll also have some great speakers in our general sessions, including Norman Atkins of Relay GSE and Kai Kight, violinist and performer extraordinaire. ·         Nominate your school for one of two new awards that we’ll be presenting to member schools at the conference this year: the Community Roots Award and the Innovative Education Award. The charter movement in Louisiana is at a critical juncture today, even as we mark 20 years of state charter school law. The conference will provide some great information to you, your board members, and your staff about how to prepare for some of the challenges ahead, and how to leverage opportunities for further success down the road.
