Young Audiences and the New Orleans Public Library present 
Community Arts and Literacy Day
Free event features costuming, crafts, music, play, snacks and a book for each child




Young Audiences and the New Orleans Public Library present Community Arts and Literacy Day: a day of art and literacy activities. Children are encouraged to dress up in costume as their favorite character. Crafts, light snacks and a free book will be given to all children who attend. The event is free and open to the public.


Where: Alvar Public Library 913 Alvar St, New Orleans, LA 70117


When: Saturday, October 24, 2015, 11:30 am-12:30pm



11:30-12:00 pm: “Music Together” with Christopher Sheard for pre-school aged children and caregivers.


12:00-12:30pm: Baby Arts Play! Music and movement for infants, toddlers and caregivers with Giselle Nahkid.
