The International School of Louisiana’s Jefferson Parish Campus is currently accepting Kindergarten applications for the 2014-2015 school year.  ISL, a Spanish and French language immersion school in grades K-8, was named Charter School of the Year, a Certified World Language School, a Top Gains School and is consistently a high-performing school.
                 
Limited spots are available in Kindergarten for Jefferson Parish residents only. To apply, call (504) 229-4391 or email admissions at isl-edu.org  The International School of Louisiana-Jefferson Parish Campus is located at 8101 Simon St. in Metairie. Registration opens July 21, 2014.
 
The school will hold an on site registration event on Thursday, July 31, 2014.  Those interested in attending must call first to schedule appointment time.  The event will take place at the ISL- Jefferson Campus located at 8101 Simon St. in Metairie. Registration opens at 9am by appointment ONLY.    The event will have convenient on-site testing. Parents can get information one-on-one with language immersion specialists and meet campus administrators. Acceptance notifications will be sent out by August 7, 2014 for all applicants.
 
 
 
Dedicated to cultural diversity and global awareness, ISL (grades K-8) is the only multi-language immersion school chartered by the State of Louisiana.  From their first day of school, students are taught core academic subjects in either French or Spanish by native speaking teachers. At ISL children learn a second language naturally, through everyday conversation and classroom instruction.
