Hank Shepard, a veteran principal and school administrator, recently with the Algiers Charter School Association, will take over as head of the organization in the 2009-10 school year

The 362 candidates in attendance came not only from all over Louisiana, but the entire nation, including Texas, Mississippi, California, South Carolina, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Nevada, New York, Arizona, Utah, Virginia, Oregon, and New Jersey
