Clark's Elkhead Ranch is a boutique grass fed beef operation located in Douglas County, Oregon. The ranch has 114 acres of grazing land under its care. While not certified, the property has been managed for the past 9 years using organic principles. No pesticides, herbicides or other toxic substances have been applied to the ranch land. A flock of goats has been added recently for biodynamic control of weeds and invasive shrubbery such as blackberry. Beef is sold as animal shares of 1/4, 1/2, and whole beef that is custom butchered in summer after fattening on the abundant spring range grass, and in fall after fattening on range grass and hay. The purpose of this e-mail list is to notify interested subscribers about upcoming harvest dates and other ranch news. After each harvest we are likely to send out grass fed beef cooking tips. Over the course of a year you can expect at most 6 messages from this list and no spam. You can unsubscribe by following the directions in each message. You are encouraged to invite your friends who are interested in upcoming grass fed beef harvests to also join this announcements list.
