[SSD Populace] Amtgard Saturday

[Seven Sleeping Dragons Amtgard]

Hello Everybody!

We will be meeting this Saturday 1pm-4pm as usual. *Also*, with Darkshore
coming up in *May 6-9th*, it is pertinent to get any Award Recommendations
you may have to me as soon as possible. *However*, for those of you who
don't know what an Award recommendation for Amtgard could be, read the
following!

1.) *Owl recommendation*: Recommendation for someone seen demonstrating
ability in the construction sciences of Amtgard.
    *Ex:* Recommending Achilles for making his first sword, medieval leather
belt, bow, chainmail, sash, etc.
         * Thus;* let me know if you've seen something Amtgard construction
oriented made, and who by!

2.) *Dragon Recommendation*: Recommendation for someone seen demonstrating
ability in the arts of Amtgard.
    *Ex:* Recommending Conan for performing a river dance, reciting poetry,
creating a painting, making a Bard poem, creating an emblem, etc.
            *Thus;* let me know if you've seen something Amtgard art
oriented made, performed, recited, etc. and who by!

3.) *Garber* *Recommendation*: Recommendation for someone seen creating garb
such as; Tunics, tabards, pants, cloaks, gloves, sashes, pouches, handbags,
etc.
   *Ex*: Recommending MacLeod for his matching handbag, or maybe a friend
for their attempt at a pair of Amtgard heavy duty gloves.
       *Thus;* let me know if you've seen something Amtgard Garb oriented
made, and who by!

4.) *Smith Recommendation*: Recommendation for someone seen organizing and
running battlegames, quests, workshops, demonstrations, and the like while
not in office, or for running such events above and beyond the requirements
of one's office.
 *Ex*: Recommending an SSD attendee for running a battlegame one day, or
recommending someone for organizing an Amtgard demo.
  *Thus;* let me know if you've seen something Amtgard oriented run or
organized by an out of office Amtgarder of SSD.

5.) *Lion Reconmmendation*: Recommendation for someone seen going above and
beyond the call of duty in the execution of an office, or for leadership
outside of office *while* performing a service to Amtgard.
      *Ex:* Reccommending officer Reeces for running separate fighter
practices.
   *Thus;* let me know if you've seen someone in service of SSD going above
and beyond their particular duties.

6.) *Rose Recommendation:* Recommendation for someone seen providing service
to the club not necessarily related to an elected office.
*EX:* Captain Jack Sparrow aiding with amtgard clean up, or helping to run a
demo.
  *Thus;* let me know if you've seen someone helping out our cause in
general.

*Note: you dont have to know the categories in which someone is deserving;
Thus, if you know someone who did something Amtgard oriented that was
helpful, creative, or noteworthy just let me know what the act was. *
