[SSD Populace] Amtgard: December 7th, 2013

Greetings,

The Tiki God has decreed it shall rain the morning of Saturday, leaving our
field too wet for us to fight. As such we won’t be meeting this Saturday at
the park.


We are expecting a large migration of high schoolers to our park on
the 14thof this December; an estimated 20-30 people. Since we are low
on loaner
gear, there is talk of a loaner weapon construction day sometime before
that Saturday, to construct more loaners and fix the ones we currently
have. Components are being gathered and the time/date is TBA. Expect to
hear news sometime in the next few days for any interested in lending a
helping hand (or sooner, depending on the whim of the Tiki God…and several
of us mortals).


Just a reminder that there is a Westmarch Day this Saturday at Crimson Wood
at 11:00 am in Rohnert Park (actual address is 1115 Emily Avenue, Rohnert
Park, CA 94928). The event shall be played by version 8 rules and there is
a call for delicious, scrumptious, good tasting holiday treats for
nibbling. A list of ingredients is necessary, in case of food allergies.


Lastly, it’s coming around the time when the position of Prime Minister
switches hands. Declarations are due in about a month’s time, which should
give enough time to think on it.
