[SSD Populace] Amtgard, Saturday 8/24/13

Greetings!  Hope your week has gone well.
We will be having our usual meeting at Santa Rosa Park on Saturday from 1pm
until, well, people stop fighting (typically 4 or 5pm).
We will have a short Althing for the Westmarch Prime Minister election.
Next weekend we will have our own Althing for electing our own Prime
Minister (provided our candidate, Dame Gwendair, passes her Corpora test).

Our own Midreign will be 9/7/13, and will consist of the Weaponmaster
tournament and Dragonmaster (Arts & Sciences) tournament, if there is
sufficient interest.

Also, Midreign is one of those times we might hold court to hand out
awards.  If someone did something you think was award worthy, please email
me or bring it up to me or Faye at the field.  We try to watch everything,
but we're not perfect, and don't mind suggestions.  Your help is
appreciated!
