[SSD Populace] Amtgard: April 27th, 2013

Greetings everyone! This Saturday we will be doing Amtgard as normal from
1-4 at Santa Rosa park. I'll have loaners for anyone who needs them.


To all the new people who are now on the list after open house last
Saturday I'd like to say hello and we'd love to see you out there at the
field as soon as you can.


Alright, so everyone passed their tests to qualify for office and while I
don't have a listing of how many votes each person got I have our new
monarchy as follows: Deimos is the new Baron, Faye is Regent, Kairos is the
new Champion, and Foremek is our new Guild Master of Reeves. Now note, that
none of the monarchy will be taking their new positions for a couple of
weeks still, so you'll still be receiving the emails from me for a short
while.


<Travis09 at cox.net>We'd also like to do a v8 playtest some time in the next
couple of weeks, so be sure that you read up on the new rules if you want
to join us for it or if you just want to say it sucks while having up to
date information why. On the other hand it could be more fun to argue that
it sucks without reading it, I may consider doing that. Here's a link to

In other news, there will be an event up in King city called Darkshore
happening on the 9th-12th of May. It should be loads of fun and if you
don't feel motivated enough to show up just for beating down people from
other lands in massive all out brawls then come out for our very own Deimos
who will be knighted on Saturday the 11th. The populace may be motivated to
riot when former Evil Prince Deimos coming back out of hiding after his
faked demise to once again claim power, so we need to be there to tell show
them who's boss in this state. More information is in the thread on the
