Alright, it's time for the weekly email again. This Saturday we will be
doing Amtgard as normal from 1-4 and I'll have loaners for anyone who needs
them.
We're still asking for volunteers in the upcoming Cal Poly open house, and
we need people to volunteer to help us run our booth. It's the 20th of
April. So, that means you still have quite a bit of time to clear up your
schedule and be prepared to help out. If you have the time to help run the
booth please do so, as it is rather boring to sit there running it for the
whole club showcase which goes from 8am to 5pm. What's more than just
helping us alleviate the boredom of desk duty you'll also be helping us
bring in new players that we've been sorely lacking the past month or so.
For those willing to help I'm putting out an offer of double credits for
the day. Send me a message or tell me at the field if you're willing to
help.
I'll also be opening declarations for the positions of Monarch, Regent,
Champion, Guild Master of Reeves, and Heir Apparent (if anyone is young
enough to qualify). To declare due so openly. So, you can do it at the
field as long as you inform people or you can do it on the Ca Amtgard
forums in the Seven Sleeping Dragons subforum. The declaration period will
last until April 14th. The Corpora has the rules on what each position is
required to do as well as qualifying for office. This page has the current
Corpora stored on it for you to download.

We will be doing fighter practice this week again from 3pm-4:30/5pm at Elm
St park, Arroyo Grande and I'll be out there with loaners for anyone who
needs them. Come out to the field if you can. If you can't get a ride, then
send me a message and I'll try to find you one.
We have an upcoming A&S on March 17th from 11-5 pm in the Business
Building. The location will be Building 2 Room 212. Building 2 is right
next to the Business building and room 212 is found on the second floor.
For those who don't know, A&S is where we come together and make all the
things we didn't know how to, or just haven't gotten around to. If you want
to make a tunic with a design on it, you should create that design now, and
don't be afraid ask for help or suggestions from others if you'd like it -
remember that applique (a type of stitching one does to put a design on
cloth) is best done in one color, and with fairly simple lines. Try to
avoid making the design too complicated for you to actually put onto the
tunic.
I hope to see you all out there this Saturday.
