[SSD Populace] Amtgard: February 2nd, 2013

It's that time again. This week we will be doing Amtgard as normal from 1-4
this Saturday and I'll have loaners for anyone who needs them.

We are planning on participating in the upcoming Cal Poly open house, and
we need people to volunteer to help us run our booth. I don't know the
exact date as of yet, it's either the 19th or 20th of April. If you have
the time to help run the booth please do so, as it is rather boring to sit
there running it for the whole club showcase which goes from 8am to 5pm.
What's more than just helping us alleviate the boredom of desk duty you'll
also be helping us bring in new players that we've been sorely lacking the
past month or so. For those willing to help I'm putting out an offer of
double credits for the day.

We will be holding an Althing this Saturday to vote on the new Westmarch
Prime Minister. Sir Nakita is running for office unopposed, so this will
simply be a confidence / no confidence / abstain thing. No need to worry
about who you like more.

In other news I'd like to inform people about the fighter practices again,
we will be doing them on Thursdays starting around 3pm and going for about
an hour / hour and a half. So make sure to get your butts moving and get
out there to fighter practice to practice your skills.
