Councilwoman Stacy Head to Host 4th Annual Hens and Hams Giveaway Event for New Orleans Seniors
 
Hens and Hams. Sounds kind of cute, right? Apparently, every Easter Season, Councilmember Stacy Head donates chickens and hams to lucky seniors for their holiday dinners. This year, Councilmember Head is visiting senior homes on April 4, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. to get seniors in the holiday spirit. Mercy Endeavers, 1017 St. Andrew St., Central City Senior  Citizens and Broadmoor Citizens, 2020 Jackson Ave., will join in the fun. "It's one of the most satisfying projects we do," said the Councilwoman. Makes me hungry just thinking about it...
