Dear Cheron -

Hope all's well. Thanks for your continued advocacy to compel Advance
Publications to reconsider its plan to reduce print TP coverage.

I thought you and your readers would appreciate the below-linked
Letter to the Editor in today's TP from the 2012 Class of the New Orleans
Regional Leadership Institute.

We are particularly disturbed by the decision of Advanced Publications to reduce
local print news in response to nationwide reductions in its ad revenue. That
decision appears to be more choosing a path of least unionized resistance, than
responding to local news access needs.

Hopefully the sustained "noise" from our community and supporters throughout the
country will yet still motive Advanced Publications to structure a long-term
solution that is more in line with the needs and tendencies of New Orleans.

Thanks again for your continued advocacy.

Best,
Jeff Thomas
