I think it's good to understand where these values come from.  Let's
update the wiki once we know for sure.

I'm struggling to work out where this comes from, I'm sure it's a
combination of other values, but I haven't quite got there yet.

The 2dB step is directly below the "Baseband Gain Range" in the
datasheet, it's listed as "Baseband Gain Minimum Step Size"

Not that I have seen, but the wiki suggests that there is a register
map which can be obtained by sending a support request to Maxim.
