[Hackrf-dev] Expansion Interface

We are designing our own filter banks and amplifiers as an expansion board for our application. I noticed that there is no API in the host part to control the GPIO pins on P20, P22,P28. 
Is there any development plans for those API's? 
How much current are we allowed to draw from 3.3V pin? 
How much current are we allowed to draw from 5V pin?
