[Hackrf-dev] GPS Spoofing for forensic use

Some GPS models are password protected at any location other than their
"home" location. This password protection makes forensic analysis
impossible without brute forcing the password or taking the GPS to
suspected home locations and seeing if it opens.

Has any work been done to use HackRF (in a controlled lab setting only) to
spoof GPS signals to make devices think they were at a different location?
If this is possible than I'd love to try to create a script that cycled
through a list of addresses to see if any of them unlocked the device.
