[Hackrf-dev] SMA whip antenna broke connector

A word of warning, I attached a 70cm/2m dual band whip antenna for
handheld radios and the SMA pin is slightly larger than the supplied
connector - this caused the centre pin of the SMA connector to push out
from the bottom of the board taking the PCB pad off the bottom and
damaging the trace on the top side of the PCB. Although the unit still
functions and the antenna when attached is working, it looks as though
will have to remove the connector as the centre pin is not showing as
connected to anything when doing a continuity test. I am not sure if
anyone else experienced this but its advisable to use a coax or pig tail
when connecting new antennas as unfortunately the one I have caused some
damage to the board. Any help with diagnoising if I need to remove the
SMA connector/apply a fix appreciated.
