Nov 16 - 17 Saturday- Sunday New Jack City Sport Climbing

New Jack City is a small, fun, sport climbing area just outside Barstow. The
routes range from roughly 5.6 to 5.12, with the majority in the range of 5.8
to 5.10.  There are virtually no approaches as the camping sites are right
in the middle of the crags. Facilities consist of tent sites with shelters,
picnic tables, fire rings, barbeques and pit toilets. There is NO water so
bring whatever you need. This trip is open to anyone who is interested,
regardless of ability.

Easy to moderate day-hikes of Little Cowhole Mountain (1,699'), Cronise
Mountain (2,380'), and some peaks in the Soda Mountains with some cross
country scrambling.
