This Saturday, May 19 the National Park Serive and Planet Granite Climbing
Gyms will be hosting a stewardship day in Yosemite Valley open to all
volunteers.  The group will be meeting at 9:00 AM in front of the visitor
center.  The plan is to focus the attention on building retaining walls and
belay pads at Sunnyside Bench (Jam Crack), and if there is a bigger crew, to
work on the approach to Sherry's Crack at Pat and Jack as well.  The heavy
rock work that they have been doing down there is incredibly fun and
satisfying, and they have some great foreman to help everyone do it safely
and effectively.

Come out with your game face, and Make the Stewardship Magic Happen This
Weekend!  There will be free camping on Friday and Saturday nights.  If you
were planning on being in the Valley this weekend, take some time to help
out!  If you need another good excuse to trek to Yos this weekend, then this
is it!  My apologies in not getting this information to everyone sooner, but
I hope you can make it!
