Here are new 4 outings that have been added to the CMC Schedule of Activities:
October 25th Saturday Santiago Peak via Holy Jim Trail
Santiago Peak is better known as Saddleback
Mountain. This is a beautiful trail and
a great conditioning hike. Round trip is
16 miles and approximately 4,000’ elevation gain. We will meet at Cooks Corner Saturday morning at 7:00 and carpool to the trail
head. The road to the trail head can be
pretty rough so a high clearance vehicle helps. Email: jlorenzen1 at cox.net
LEADER/ORGANIZER: Jan Lorenzen
November
15th Saturday Palm Springs
to Top of Tram
Beginning in Palm Springs, we will hike to the tram on
San Jacinto. This day hike is 9 miles to
the tram with an elevation gain of 8,000’. For those of you that just can’t settle for
8,000 feet in one day you can hike on up to the top of San Jacinto. We will be taking the tram down so we will be
leaving cars at the tram and carpooling over to the trail head in Palm Springs.
