ABOUT YOUNG AUDIENCES CHARTER SCHOOLS
Opened in 2013, Young Audiences Charter Schools are open-enrollment, arts-integrated schools operating in Jefferson and Orleans Parish. Research shows that students at arts-integrated schools score higher on standardized tests and academic measures than peers at other schools. Students engaged in the arts also show better attendance, fewer behavior referrals, greater class participation, and a deeper love of learning.
