Rooted School to Hold Back to School Picnic August 17



WHAT: Rooted School invites families, friends, and the community to its Back to School Picnic at the New Orleans Lakefront. The afternoon will feature free food and drinks, fun activities, arts and crafts, giveaways, raffles, and music. It’s a great way to celebrate the new school year and enjoy time together by the lake.

WHEN: Sunday, August 17, 2025
TIME: 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
WHERE: New Orleans Lakefront – Shelter #3
The event is free and open to the public.
