Three Open Houses Added for 25-26 School Year

NOMMA Expands Open House Offerings for 2025-26 Admissions

 

The New Orleans Military and Maritime Academy (NOMMA), a top-rated open-admissions public charter school located next to the Marine Forces Reserve national headquarters in Federal City, has added three additional open house events to meet growing public interest in its 8th–12th grade program for the 2025-26 school year, announced Principal Alexis Long.

The newly scheduled open house dates are:

●               Thursday, May 8

●               Monday, May 19

●               Tuesday, June 3

Doors open at 5:15 p.m., and presentations will begin promptly at 6 p.m. Once the presentation starts, doors will be closed to further entry. All open houses will take place in the NOMMA cafeteria, 425 O’Bannon St., New Orleans, LA 70114. Parent/guardian identification is required.

Admissions & Open Enrollment: Open Enrollment for the 2025-26 school year begins on May 14, 2025. To apply during this period, prospective students must attend an open house with at least one parent or legal guardian. If you have already attended an Open House in the 24-25 school year, contact NOMMA to complete a seat request! 

How to Register: Families interested in attending an open house must complete an Interest Form at nomma.net/admissions.
