Discovery Schools to Hold Open House for Baton Rouge Ochsner Discovery on November 20




Baton Rouge Ochsner Discovery will host an open house for prospective students entering grades Pre-K through 6th on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, 6:00 pm - 7 pm at the BROD Campus at 17255 S Harrells Ferry Road in Baton Rouge. Discovery Schools are open-enrollment, high-performing public charter schools delivering a rigorous curriculum with a focus on health and sciences.


Founded in 2013 in Jefferson Parish, Discovery Schools has grown into a high-demand, award-winning public charter school network overseeing four schools. In 2020, Discovery Schools expanded with the addition of  Dr. John Ochsner Discovery in Jefferson, an innovative partnership with Ochsner Health. Discovery then expanded its successful school model in Baton Rouge with the opening of Baton Rouge Ochsner Discovery. In addition, Discovery Fusion, a hybrid virtual school, opened this year.
